Tandem Skydive in Oxfordshire

JUMP OUT OF A PLANE STRAPPED TO AN INSTRUCTOR

Our most popular course and probably the easiest way to experience the thrill of freefall followed by an exhilarating canopy ride.

Experience parachuting without the fuss of an intensive course. After a short briefing you will be ready to take to the skies at altitudes up to 13,000 feet depending on weather and local air traffic control restrictions. Training is run throughout the day and students are strapped to the front of a Tandem Instructor who is there to control the entire skydive for you.

Once you exit the aeroplane you will accelerate to 120 mph, covering each thousand feet in approximately five seconds. At 5,000 feet the Instructor will deploy the square parachute which will then be controlled by both persons until you land softly and gently some four minutes later.

All students will have a minimum of provisional membership of the British Parachute Association, which entitles them to a Third Party liability insurance of £2,000,000. The cost of this insurance is included in the price.

Personal Accident insurance cover can be arranged at the centre on the day if required.

Also available is the DVD & Stills camera package priced at £95. The centre has a team of professional video cameramen available at all times who can record your descent for you. DVD's can either be arranged when you book your skydive or on the day.

A medical form is required if you are 40 years of age or over and a letter of parental consent is required if you are under 18. The minimum age for parachuting is 16 years and there is no maximum age or this course.
