Various accommodations. Restrictions: Age restrictions: Min age is 16 (Under 18's will need written consent from parent or guardian) Weight Limit: Max Weight limit is 15 stone. You will be required to complete a Declaration of Fitness. If you are over 40, or have a medical condition that may affect your ability to freefall or parachute safely you will require a doctor´s certificate to be completed in advance.Those over 50 are rarely accepted for an AFF course. Duration: The AFF course in Cape Town is run over a 2 week period. Depending on the weather you may finish within the 2 weeks. What to Wear / Equipment: The course fee includes all instruction, hire of parachutes, helmets, radios, altimeters, overalls, your aircraft ride and your jumps, excluding re-jumps. You will be wearing a jump suit over your clothes and in the warm summer a T-shirt and shorts is usually enough but wrap up warmer in the winter. Goggles fit comfortably over your glasses, and contact lenses are no problem. Group Size / Spectators: Spectators are welcome to come along on the day and hang out at the drop zone. The HARD DOCK CAFÉ offers you yummy breakfast, tasty burgers and lots of cool drinks during opening hours of the Dropzone. Also the perfect place for a cool beer after a day skydiving or to celebrate your passed AFF course! Weather: Skydiving is weather dependent. Your instructor will keep you updated during your course regarding when you are able to do your jumps. Availability: There are limited places on the AFF courses and at the accommodation options so please contact us as soon as you know when you want to go. Courses are run all year round.
