Itinerary / Highlights
Frequently asked questions:What weather conditions prevents me from jumping? Obviously skydiving is very weather dependent. For example strong wind, low cloud or rain can prevent us from jumping. As we operate from an area where bad weather can clear very quickly, we will re-confirm whether we are operational one hour before your jump. If you are booked and you don't hear from us, it's all go!
What height should I jump from?
The most popular height is 13,000 feet (above ground level). If you are of a superstitious nature, we are more then happy to jump out at 12,995 feet, just let us know. We certainly recommend this as a minimum height if you get your jump filmed.
How long does the freefall last?
You fall about 1000 feet every 5 seconds after the first 1000 feet, which takes 10 seconds. So a freefall from 12,000 feet will take 40 seconds!
How fast do you travel in freefall?
120mph or 200 km/ph
How do I get to Motueka?
You could either drive to our dropzone (see directions page) or we can pick you up from anywhere between Nelson and Marahau.
What do I wear?
We supply jumpsuits, goggles, gloves and helmets. Make sure you wear sturdy footwear and bring a warm top (i.e. fleece).
I wear glasses/contact lenses ...
No problem, we supply you with custom made goggles for that purpose.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, 100 kg or 16 Stone
