The village is situated on lake Hallstatersee, so once the excitment is over there's the perfect opportunity to relax by the lake and recharge your batteries before returning to the trails.

The Obertrauner Hof offers comfortably furnished accommodation, in 12 spacious en-suite bedrooms many of which have balconies opening out to breath-taking panoramic views of the Dachstein Massif.

Communal lounge areas and a peaceful garden provide the perfect opportunity to compare notes with fellow travellers or offer a quiet retreat after an exciting day outdoors.

The Obertrauner Hof also comes complete with a generously sized bar/restaurant: the Glankowirt provides local cuisine and seasonal specialties and the perfect place to enjoy your evening.
