Parachute Club of Utti - DZ Utti

Parachute Club of Utti (ULK) was founded in 1963. Today, ULK is the second largest skydiving club in Finland. Club members and visiting skydivers make altogether a total of 6000-8000 skydives per year. This includes training jumps of 200-250 SL- and 100+ tandem students.

During recent years the Parachute Club of Utti has arranged several skydiving events. These include hosting several Finnish Parachuting Nationals, National Record Attempts in large formation FS and CF, as well as Utti-Boogies 1994, 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2004. Alongside with our regular fleet, aircrafts used in these events have been Fokker F-27, DC-3, AN-26, AN-28, Let-410, Twin Otter and Mi-8-helicopters. In 1998 we also organized jumps from AN-72 jet-transporter in Utti.

Our facilities include a classroom, up-to-date student gear, a cafe, a barbecue hut, indoor packing, rigging services, free camping, hot showers and - of course - a proper sauna. Due to intensive constructing activities, our facilities have become so cozy that people like to hang around, even on a lousy weather day and also during the winter when there's not much hope for skydiving and it's probably -35
